SCHEDULE & THEMES
September 5 | Appetizers & Desserts
For more information on SilverSneakers® please visit silversneakers.com.
- Skip the main course! Appetizers and desserts are often the favorites at any party. So cut out the middle course and give the people what they want!
- Consider a theme based on your childhood where everyone shares favorite childhood food. Perhaps this theme will spark conversations and provide an opportunity to learn something new about your friends.
- Nothing brings us together like baked goods, and unlike a white elephant party where the guests bring gifts, a cookie exchange asks each guest to show up with a dozen or more home-baked or bought cookies. At the party, everyone gets to sample an assortment of cookies baked by other guests. Best part... when you're done sampling, everyone leaves with a take-away container full of cookies!
- Happy New Year! Why not bring in the New Year of 2024 with good luck and prosperity and share your favorite brunch foods and you may as well share your new year resolution too!
