Adopt-A-Park Program
ABOUT
If your organization is looking for a way to get involved in the community, the Dickinson Parks & Recreation Adopt-A-park program would be a great fit.
In this partnership, with the help of volunteers from your organization, we can provide general maintenance and upkeep of parks and facilities within Dickinson. The idea is for residents to take ownership of their local park and improve the overall quality of the area. Participating groups help DPR keep an eye out for potential hazards, vandalism, cleanliness, and general park mistreatment.
All groups that participate in the program will receive a certificate, as well as receive recognition at the site location.
WHO?
Any organization, business or club can adopt a park. Examples of different groups include scouts, student clubs, youth sports groups, business employees, etc. Participants must be at least 10 years old to participate.
