SEASON INFORMATION

Division:  Men, Women & Coed
Team Registration Meeting: March 8 - 6:30 pm - WRCC
(MANDATORY team representative must be in attendance--MUST bring sponsor fee to this meeting)

AGE:  15+ (must turn 15 by first league night)

DESCRIPTION:
This is a USA Softball sanctioned league with USA Softball sanctioned umpires. This league will follow USA Softball rules — allowing for a competitive atmosphere — yet with local league rule adaptations allowing for a more recreational playing environment.

UMPIRES NEEDED:
If you are interested in umpiring please contact Wilson prior to the registration meeting!  All umpires are required to be USA Softball sanctioned and wear USA Softball uniform apparel. We will provide training and registration of all umpires.

Creative Lab

Creative Lab is a series of free art workshops for high school students in Region 8 of North Dakota, designed to provide accessible creative experiences for youth who may not normally have opportunities to participate in art programs. Program is funded through the Walmart Foundation (Region 8 Youth Initiative: Moonshot Taskforce) Each workshop is designed as a stand-alone class, allowing students to attend any session without feeling behind. At the same time, the classes are linked through the theme: “How Ideas Become Art.” Students will explore observation, abstraction, symbolism, experimentation, and collaboration through hands-on projects that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and self-expression. The program is designed to be welcoming for students of all skill levels, especially those who may not consider themselves “artistic.” Program Structure 5 Workshops | 2 hours each. Each session follows a consistent format:
  • Introduction and inspiration discussion • Creative warm-up activity • Guided art project • Group share and reflection
Students leave each class with a completed artwork. REGISTRATION: The art classes are 5 standalone workshops, which happen to progress with each class. Creative Connection

Gamer Ascend
