SEASON INFORMATION

Division:  Men, Women & Coed
Team Registration Meeting: March 8 - 6:30 pm - WRCC
(MANDATORY team representative must be in attendance--MUST bring sponsor fee to this meeting)

AGE:  15+ (must turn 15 by first league night)

DESCRIPTION:
This is a USA Softball sanctioned league with USA Softball sanctioned umpires. This league will follow USA Softball rules — allowing for a competitive atmosphere — yet with local league rule adaptations allowing for a more recreational playing environment.

UMPIRES NEEDED:
If you are interested in umpiring please contact Wilson prior to the registration meeting!  All umpires are required to be USA Softball sanctioned and wear USA Softball uniform apparel. We will provide training and registration of all umpires.

STRONG Kids: Connect

Dickinson Parks & Recreation has partnered with the Best Friends Mentoring Program to offer a FREE program that promotes emotional well-being and encourages kids to cultivate creative potential. Youth will participate in small-group discussions, games, and activities that inspire confidence, connectedness, creative thinking, and positive mindset. This program will take place at Dickinson Middle School.

  The STRONGkids Program in partnership with Best Friends Mentoring Program received the North Dakota Recreation & Parks Association (NDRPA) 2024 Innovative Programming Award. The Innovative Programming Award recognizes and honors an NDRPA member agency or organization that demonstrates leadership with advanced groundbreaking ideas in programming.

Facility Orientation Class

The purpose of this 30-minute course is to provide direction in safety, technique, and gym etiquette to youth members, along with anyone interested in learning more about the fitness equipment. Participants will learn how to properly use our cardio and strength machines and equipment from one of our certified personal trainers. Youth ages 12-13 will be able to use the fitness equipment without parental supervision after the successful completion of this class. Registration deadline is 2 days prior to class. Little Artists

In this class children ages 2-5 will be making a holiday themed craft. Participants will be able to work on their sensory and fine motor skills while getting messy! We provide the materials, the fun and the clean up! Instructions
  • Child must be accompanied by an adult or someone age 16+.
  • Registration begins Aug. 1st for Oct/Nov/Dec/Jan classes.
  • Registration begins Jan. 1st for Feb/Mar/Apr/May classes.
  • Registration deadline is the Tuesday prior to session. If minimum enrollment has not been met, deadline may be extended.

Tennis Lessons (Fall)

Introduce your child to the game of tennis. Participants will experience the basic fundamentals, while engaging in a non-competitive learning environment. INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Racquets will be provided or bring your own if you have one.
  • Wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes (no street shoes allowed).
