Little Artists

In this class children ages 2-5 will be making a holiday themed craft. Participants will be able to work on their sensory and fine motor skills while getting messy! We provide the materials, the fun and the clean up!

Instructions

  • Child must be accompanied by an adult or someone age 16+.
  • Registration begins Aug. 1st for Oct/Nov/Dec/Jan classes.
  • Registration begins Jan. 1st for Feb/Mar/Apr/May classes.
  • Registration deadline is the Tuesday prior to session. If minimum enrollment has not been met, deadline may be extended.

Facility Orientation Class

The purpose of this 30-minute course is to provide direction in safety, technique, and gym etiquette to youth members, along with anyone interested in learning more about the fitness equipment. Participants will learn how to properly use our cardio and strength machines and equipment from one of our certified personal trainers. Youth ages 12-13 will be able to use the fitness equipment without parental supervision after the successful completion of this class. Registration deadline is 2 days prior to class. Tennis Lessons (Fall)

Introduce your child to the game of tennis. Participants will experience the basic fundamentals, while engaging in a non-competitive learning environment. INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Racquets will be provided or bring your own if you have one.
  • Wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes (no street shoes allowed).

Pickleball Nights

WELCOME to Pickleball Nights! Whether you want to play recreationally or are a little more competitive, we have some fun nights for you! You'll find below Dinker Nights and King of the Court Nights--either way, you will need a DUPR rating to participate this year. See instructions. INSTRUCTIONS:
  • A DUPR rating is now required to participate—please be sure to create an account and follow the DPRD club on the DUPR website prior to the event. If you need help creating an account, stop by the DPRD office for assistance.
  • Level: The Program Supervisor may adjust your group placement based on your skill level assessment.
  • Registration Deadline: Monday prior to night.
