BIOGRAPHY: 

N-Compass is a women’s barbershop chorus. We’ve been singing together for over thirty years, beginning in 1993 as Prairie Rose Chorus. In 2023, we decided to enter the 21st century with a new name, N-Compass Chorus. Our purpose is to encourage those who like to sing and introduce the barbershop singing style. We are a member of The Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America (SPEBSQSA) which was officially formed in 1935. This group was originally only open to men but, in 2018, opened its doors to women. Today, there are many groups who all operate under the umbrella of Barbershop Harmony Society.
