Overview

The Kids Cooking Class is designed to teach your children how to be independent in the kitchen while learning basic cooking skills and kitchen safety. Food made in class will be able to be brought home when finished.

Instructions:

  • Parents are encouraged to attend with their child.
  • Registration deadline is the Wednesday prior to class.

  • 🎃October 7 | Learn the culinary skills to make some fun Halloween inspired treats. We'll be making Monster Mouth, Halloween Cakesicles, Spooky Graham Crackers and Halloween Crapes.
  • 🍂November 4 | Leading our November class will be a student from DSU. Explore the Japanese culture by making Onigiri, Strawberry Mochi, and Mini Okomoniyaki.
  • 🎄December 9 | Tis' the Season for Christmas Tree Veggie Tray, Candy Cookie Cone Forest, Christmas Tree Pancake Stacks and Candy Cane Marshmallow Pops.
  • 🏈January 6 | The kids will learn how to make football game inspired snacks. Join us for Football Mini Meatloaf, Taco Pinwheels, Nachos and 7 Layer Dip. Go Team!
  • ♥February 3 | Be My Valentine! Strawberry Brownie Kabobs, Red Velvet Cake Bars, Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries and Chocolate Dipped Wafer Cookies - YUM!
  • 🍀March 2 | Get in the Irish spirit with Mint Oreo Bark, Rainbow Crispy Treats, Luck of the Irish Skewers and Leprechaun Cookie Bark.
  • 🌎April 6 | Celebrate Mother Earth while learning to make Earth Day Pudding Cups, Fruit Map Snack, Oreo Truffles and a Sandwich Tree.
  • 🌷May 4 | Join us for our spring and summer inspired menu with Fruit Pizza, Summer Beach Bear Cookies, Watermelon Mousse and Charcuterie Board.
