We offer the following aquatic lessons:

- Level 6 is by request only
REQUIREMENTS: Only one session of lessons may be registered for at a time. To sign up for additional swimming lessons you must complete your current session, allowing you to register for the appropriate level. To help select the appropriate level for your child please reference the American Red Cross class descriptions here.

Aquatic Registration
Aquatic Lessons have their own registration dates outside of regular program registration. Please note the registration dates for each session below. Register by selecting your level and session below.
Descriptions and Schedules
These classes are designed to encourage parent/child learning and water adjustment in a safe and positive setting. Parents accompany their children at all times while an experienced instructor guides parents in teaching their children fundamental safety and aquatic skills. Parent/child classes are excellent opportunities for children to begin transitioning to the preschool swim program.

When private lessons become available, they are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Cost is $70/person with individual lessons consisting of four, 30-minute sessions taught by a certified Red Cross Water Safety Instructor. Specific days/times/months cannot be guaranteed and are based on instructor availability. Once registered you will be placed on a waiting list. If the waiting list is full, please check the list as often as you like until there is an opening. A name can only be added once to the waiting list. Call the DPR office at (701) 456-2074 to sign up for private lessons or register online here.
WAITING LIST PROCESS: When an instructor has an opening, we will check the waiting list. The Aquatic Supervisor will contact you with open dates and times. If your availability is a match for our instructor, you will be enrolled. Specific days/times/months cannot be guaranteed. Payment for lessons is required at the time of enrollment. We are not able to keep your name on the waiting list if you are unable to take the lesson schedule that is provided when you are called or if you do not return a call within 24 hours.

T-Ball
Intro to T-Ball (4 yr old)
Learn the fundamentals of base running, catching and throwing (without gloves) and proper batting stance/grip. No glove required. REQUIREMENTS:- Fee is $12
- Must be age 4 by last day of program.
- Registration deadline is July 11.
T-Ball (5-6 yr old)
Players ages 5-6 will be introduced to the basic skills of throwing, catching, hitting, and running the bases. Participants will hit off the batting tee for entire program. REQUIREMENTS:- Fee is $40
- Must be 5-6 years as of last day of program.
- Baseball glove required.
