BIOGRAPHY: Breaking Eight is a high-energy country rock band who performs music “born in the back of a bull.” We have true country and rodeo roots and love performing for all our country-loving fans. Our music is positive, edgy, and for all ages. Come on out to our shows to have a great time and experience awesome country rock music! Breaking Eight’s lead bass player and front man, Beni Paulson, is also a former PBR World Finals qualifier and spent a good part of his life riding bulls professionally, so it’s no surprise that the music is edgy and full of energy. Jerilyn Wiseman is a competitive rodeo athlete who competes in team roping, breakaway roping, and barrel racing. Her precise and unique fiddle style give the band a very groovy appeal, and her personality and rodeo lifestyle adds to the edginess of live performances. Ty Taylor brings amazing guitar skills that have been honed in Nashville and all around the great USA, and even though he will melt your face right off, his style of songwriting is a little more ballad and emotional. Luke Smillie is a black belt in drumming. His timing, rhythm, and professionalism keep the crowd energized and wanting more.
