Bandshell Concert | Paul Family Bluegrass

June 11 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

BAND: Paul Family Bluegrass

GENRE: Bluegrass

BIOGRAPHY: Originally from Florida, The Paul Family Bluegrass band is a family of seven that operates a 12,000 tap, 260 acre maple syrup farm in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. As the snow melts and spring returns, the Paul family load up into their 45′ tour bus and excitedly look forward to their busy “tour season”. Their primary focus will then turn from farming, towards encouraging America’s families though music. With a profound ear towards traditional Gospel and Appalachian bluegrass music, widely acclaimed Paul Family Bluegrass purposefully and skillfully blend together six acoustic stringed instruments combined with tasteful harmonies resulting in a sound and performance that only a family can deliver. A wide range of music styling by the likes of Jim & Jesse, The Louvin Brothers, Bill Monroe and even real country music has a profound influence on the overall sound of The Paul Family Bluegrass Band. Featuring a mix of Gospel, originals, traditional and even modern bluegrass songs, the Paul family is equally as comfortable at bluegrass festivals, as they are at churches and community events. Paul Family Bluegrass can be found performing almost anywhere as they travel annually from MT to Branson, MO to TX and all points east while performing up to a hundred concerts annually. The family’s love for the Lord is evident in everything they do and is easily noticeable in their music, stage presence and audience interaction. Whatever the song, wherever the performance, the Paul Family Bluegrass Band always brings a lively performance that feature songs with positive messages that will leave you feeling encouraged, enlightened, empowered and emboldened.
