STAY CONNECTED

No matter your fitness level you are sure to find a fun and rewarding class that fits your individual needs.  All instructors are either certified or have group fitness training.  Yoga instructors are Yoga certified and Pilates instructors are Pilates certified.  Instructors are also required to be certified in CPR.

All of our group fitness classes begin with a 5-minute warm-up followed by a 5-minute stretching segment. The aerobic portion of the classes last approximately 25-35 minutes.  After the aerobic segment a toning, cool-down and stretch segment are followed. 

Must be 14 or older to participate.  Ages 12-13 are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult.

Classes are subject to change on a monthly basis. 

WRCC does not allow videotaping or photography of our group fitness classes or its participants. We do this to provide a welcoming environment and out of respect of our patrons privacy.  Individuals in violation of this rule will be asked to leave the class.

Beat the “Winter Blues” with Dickinson Parks and Recreation by coming inside to a warm fun filled event at the West River Community Center! You and your family will enjoy activities all day long! Inflatables, music, crafts, free lunch, a pool party, dive in movie, glow golf and so much more! Bring non perishable food items to donate to the food pantry as your admission. Each item you bring will give you that many chances in a drawing to win a 1 year membership to the Community Center.

  August Group Fitness Schedule Changes: Outside Aqua Aerobics will be the only group fitness class held the week of August 13.  The facility will be closed for cleaning.  If attending Outside Aqua Aerobics (Tuesday, August 14 or Thursday August 16 at 11a), please use the outside pool entrance. Thursdays 5:30a Cardio Circuit will be changed to Cycle 360. We are looking at adding some new classes in September.  Please fill out a comment cards and let us know what kind of classes you would like to see!
