Indoor cycling is a high-intensity exercise that involves using a stationary exercise bicycle in a classroom setting.  The class involves an instructor at the front of the class who leads participants through routines that are designed to simulate situations similar to riding a bike outdoors.  The atmosphere includes low lighting and music to motivate.

The TRX Suspension Trainers are the original, best in-class workout system that leverages gravity and your body weight to perform hundreds of exercises.  You’re in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise.

8:00 am & 9:00 am – Low to moderate intensity. This class begins with a brisk warm up, jogging in place and some arm exercises to get the heart rate up and try to sustain for at least 15 minutes.  Using the edge of the pool for support you’ll also work on balance, good posture and deep breathing.

The Zumba class uses Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away.  The workout provides fitness benefits because its routines feature interval training sessions with fast and slow rhythms and resistance training, which are intended to tone and sculpt the body while burning fat.

January Schedule Changes:

  • January 1: No group fitness classes will be held.  See you all on January 2.
  • Removals:
    Monday 8:45 am TRX has been removed from the schedule.
    Wednesday 5:30 am Sunrise Yoga has been removed from the schedule.
    Thursday 5:30 am Cycle 360 has been removed from the schedule.
    Thursday 9:30 am Aqua Strength has been removed from the schedule.
    Thursday 5:30 pm Aqua Aerobics has been removed from the schedule.
    Thursday 6:00 pm Yoga has been removed from the schedule.
  • Additions:
    Monday 8:45 am Kettlebells has been added to the schedule.
    Tuesday 8:45 am Cycle has been added to the schedule.
    Wednesday 6:00 pm Pilates has been added to the schedule.
    Saturday 10:00 am TRX has been added to the schedule.
  • Changes: 
    Tuesday 10:00 am Mommy & Me has been moved to Mondays at 10:00 am.

Instructor Changes: 

We will miss you!
Ermuun Bulgan: (Thursday 6p Yoga Instructor) will be moving to Bismarck the end of December.  We wish her the best in all of her future endeavors!
Kaitlyn Venema: has been an instructor with the WRCC for the past 2 years.  She has taught a variety of classes such as Bootcamp, Kettlebells, Cycle, & TRX.  Thank you for all of your hard work.  You will be missed!

Welcome New Instructors

We are excited for Kelli Wojahn to be joining our staff as a Kettlebells instructor.  She will be teaching a new Monday 8:45 am Kettlebells class & rotating Friday 8:45 am Cycle 360.

Karen Boswell joined our staff this last summer.  She has experience teaching Cycle, Spin, & several other formats. Karen will be teaching 5:30 am Friday Cycle, 6:00 pm Wednesday Pilates, & rotating Tuesday 6:00 pm Cycle.
