Raised in the “middle of everywhere” between Bismarck\, N.D. and Pierre\, S.D.\, she was trained in classical piano and four-part vocal harmony from a young age and immersed in a culture of oral and local history. At age 27\, she hit a mid-life crisis and moved to the Scottish Highlands to study accordion for a year\, and found herself in the musical bootcamp of the independent and traditional music scenes. Studying under the likes of Alasdair Murray and Rachel Walker gave her foundational performance skills and a space to process – through song – some of life’s toughest challenges. DESCRIPTION:It’s a party for the pooches!  Come to the Pooch Pool Party and let the furry ones enjoy a dip in the pool.  All pool chemicals will have been turned off for 24 hours\, so it’s safe for the pups.  Dog owners may only enter up to ankle or calf height. Anyone under the age of 18 must be under parental/guardian supervision.\nDogs must be current on vaccinations and are expected to be well behaved and social around adults\, children and other dogs.\nPlease do NOT bring dogs under the age of four months\, dogs in heat\, or a dog that becomes easily frightened\, agitated or aggressive to this event.\nAll owners will be expected to clean up after their dogs.
