No matter your fitness level you are sure to find a fun and rewarding class that fits your individual needs. All instructors are either certified or have group fitness training. All Yoga instructors are Yoga certified and all Pilates instructors are Pilates certified. Instructors are also required to be certified in CPR.

All of our group fitness classes begin with a 5-minute warm-up followed by a 5-minute stretching segment. The aerobic portion of the classes last approximately 25-35 minutes. After the aerobic segment a toning, cool-down and stretch segment are followed. Must be 14 or older to participate.  Ages 12-13 are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult. Classes are subject to change on a monthly basis. 

WRCC does not allow videotaping or photography of our group fitness classes or its participants. We do this to provide a welcoming environment and out of respect of our patrons privacy. Individuals in violation of this rule will be asked to leave the class.

Indoor cycling is a high-intensity exercise that involves using a stationary exercise bicycle in a classroom setting.  The class involves an instructor at the front of the class who leads participants through routines that are designed to simulate situations similar to riding a bike outdoors.  The atmosphere includes low lighting and music to motivate.

Yoga is a low impact class based on the Eastern idea of moving energy through the body.  Yoga is for all ages, male and female and you do not have to be flexible to start.  Flexibility along with a number of other benefits will come as you take these classes.

In this class you use your body weight to perform various moves on different muscle groups.  Boot Camp drills and toning exercises will get you in shape and get your heart rate up.

A high intensity full body workout that incorporates a kettlebell weight.  This class is a strength and cardiovascular workout in one.

Zumba Instructor Class

Thank you for all who attended the Zumba Basic 1 Certification & Kids Zumba Certification in April!  The training was so much fun and a huge success!

AQUA AEROBICS

Aqua Aerobics takes place in the shallow area of the leisure pool and offers a low-impact workout that is easy on the joints.  Weights, barbells, and noodles are used in combination with other exercises to increase the heart rate.  All workouts are low-moderate intensity. *No swimming experience required-Beginning to Intermediate

 

BODY BASICS

Learn to use weights, bands and balls while elevating your heart rate. Dedicated just for beginners.You will get a great, intense workout while reducing impact on the joints.  This class is perfect for the beginners to those who would like a challenge!-All Levels

BOOT CAMP

Boot Camp is patterned after military style drills to work the whole body.  Various equipment is used to get the heart rate up and tone the muscles.  -Intermediate- Advanced

CARDIO SCULPT


A total body workout including cardiovascular
exercises and muscle sculpting exercises using
various equipment.  This will involve exercises and
stretches to strengthen the muscles of the core,
arms, legs, & other areas of the body.-All Levels

 

CYCLING

BIKE FIT- 1st & 3rd Tuesday of Every Month
If you are new to indoor cycling, an experienced cycler, or wanting a recovery ride, this class might be for you.  This class focuses on proper positioning of the bike, as well as form and technique while cycling.  You will be led through an intro level/recovery ride.  This class is 30 minutes, but participants are welcome to stay for the 6pm Cycle class immediately following.-All Levels

FIT PUMP

A strength training workout that challenges all major muscle groups using dumbbell weights and weighted bars. All Levels

FOAM ROLLER MASSAGE

A low intensity workout that utilizes foam rollers while massaging various muscle groups.

FOREVER FIT

Lower impact aerobics in several different formats.

FUSION BASICS

Fusion Basics classes are geared towards creating a fun, low impact workout that raises the heart rate, maintains strength, & increases flexibility.  These classes focus on technique and form while using different equipment (dumbbells, spinning bikes, TRX Suspension Trainers, etc.).  Perfect for the beginner to the older populations! All Levels

 

HIIT

High Intensity Interval Training is a form of training which involves intervals of maximal effort/high intensity exercises followed by periods of low to moderate activity.  Even though this is a quick and powerful workout, the body continues to burn calories after the class is completed.  Intermediate- Advanced

KETTLEBELLS

A high intensity full body workout that incorporates a kettlebell weight.  This class is a strength and cardiovascular workout in one.

KIDS FIT  

Kids ages 3 to 5 will learn about their muscle groups while doing fun activities such as marching in place to warm up, leaping like a frog, stomping like a rabbit, practicing monkey arms, and other fun activities. *Parents must accompany their child to the program and be present during class. No street shoes allowed.  This includes no sandals, flip flops, or boots.

PILATES

Pilates is a low impact strengthening workout that focuses on the stretching and lengthening of the muscles.  It incorporates core stability, while also teaching body awareness, good posture, and proper breathing. Pilates can also work to improve flexibility, agility, & range of motion.-All Levels

SILVER SNEAKERS CARDIO CIRCUIT

Try a safe and heart-healthy aerobics class to energize your active lifestyle using low-impact movements that focus specifically on building upper-body and core strength plus cardio endurance.  This is a higher intensity class. -Beginner- Intermediate

SILVER SNEAKERS CLASSIC 
 

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscle strength, range of movement, and activities for daily living.  Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a Silver Sneakers ball are offered for resistance.  A chair is used for seated exercises and standing support.  This class can be adapted by the participant depending on their fitness level and abilities.-Beginner- Intermediate

SILVER SNEAKERS YOGA

Get ready to move through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses.  Chair support is offered so you can perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movement.  Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.-All Levels

SILVER SNEAKERS SPLASH

A fun, shallow-water exercise class that uses a signature splash-board to increase movement and intensity options. Splash is suitable for all skill levels and is safe for non-swimmers. The pool provides many benefits when used for aerobic exercise and resistance training.-All Levels

TOTAL BODY

The TRX Suspension Trainers offer the ultimate full body workout.  You control the intensity and the resistance of each exercise.  The class incorporates cardio & strength training. –  All Levels

The TRX Suspension Trainers offer the ultimate full body workout.  You control the intensity and the resistance of each exercise.  The class incorporates cardio & strength training.  All Levels

YOGO

Yoga is perfect for anyone, at any age, and for any body type.  Yoga offers low impact stretching sequences that work to increase flexibility of the muscles.  The breath is utilized to clear the mind and relax the body. Instruction is given on how to make the pose work best for you.-All Levels

 

BEGINNER YOGA

Beginner Yoga is geared towards focusing on specific poses and making them work for your body.  Instruction is given on how to modify and adjust the poses to accommodate you best.
-Beginner

GENTLE YOGA

Gentle yoga is geared towards moving at a slower pace while also focusing on finding a deep stretch.-All Levels

SUNRISE YOGA

Start the day out right with Sunrise Yoga!  The yoga sequences are meant to energize the body and get you ready for a new day.  This class is held outside in the summer (weather permitting) and in Studio A in the winter.-All Levels

ZUMBA

Zumba originated in Brazil and has become a huge hit worldwide.  The classes use Latin and International music to create sequences that are easy to follow and fun to do.  This is the ultimate dance party (you will hardly notice you are working out)!-All Levels
