Group Fitness Classes are either held in Studio A or Studio B in the upper level of the community center. Some classes may also be held in the Multi-Athletic Court (MAC).
H.E.A.T. (High Energy Athletic Training) (60 minutes)
Fun Work – Hard Play! An exercise format that is sure to rev up the most avid exercisers. Endurance games, intervals, boot camp drills, running and obstacle courses are just a few of the innovative ideas used to train the entire body for serious results.
Circuit (60 minutes)
You won’t get bored with this workout. Enjoy doing a minute of cardio to get your heart rate up and a minute of strength training. You will have an opportunity to work a different muscle group every other minute to get a full body workout. This class gets your heart rate up while strengthening 12 major muscle groups.
Combo (60 minutes)
Enjoy a variety of step, kickbox, and/or hi/low in this class. You will enjoy doing 10 to 15 minutes of each one to spice things up.
Hi/Low/Yolates (60 minutes)
Hi/Low impact, follow-along moves to music such as knee lifts, grapevines, hamstring curls that can be performed with either high impact for more intensity or low impact. Patterned moves make it easy to drop-in and follow along. The last 15 minutes consists of yoga or pilates. Great for beginners.
Kickboxing (60 minutes)
High energy, high intensity punching and kicking gives you a fun way to let off some steam. Kickboxing at its best targets large muscle group conditioning while keeping your heart rate in the proper training zone. Challenge your fitness level and push it to the limit.
Fit Ball (40-60 minutes)
Efficient, effective and fun! This 40 to 60 minute class will help you burn calories and tone muscles more efficiently than traditional exercise programs. The entire workout is done on the fitness ball. Your core muscles are engaged during every exercise just to maintain your balance. Exercises are alternated between the upper and lower body so your heart and lungs have to work harder to send blood through these major muscle groups at opposite ends of the body, burning more calories. A warm-up and cool down are included. This is a workout that is challenging, fresh and fun!
Step and Weights (60 minutes)
Strength training is the key to a healthier body! Come and enjoy a combination of step and weights. Five minutes of cardio and two minutes of weights for 30 minutes. Gain exposure to muscle toning while burning fat.
Step and Tone (60 minutes)
In this class you will do step for 10 minutes and tone lower body for 2 minutes. You will do lower body toning three times and each time you will focus on a different muscle group.
Forever Fit (45 minutes) - Low impact aerobics. Great for beginners.
Cardio Pump (45 minutes)
In this class you will incorporate weighted bars, weights and tubing to promote the improvement of muscular endurance while conditioning the muscles to respond with definition resulting in a lean body composition.
Pilates (20-25 minutes)
Pilates is performed in a reclined or sitting position. Most of the exercises are low impact and focus on strengthening and stretching. Pilates builds strength without excess bulk creating a sleek, toned body. It teaches body awareness, good posture, and proper breathing. Pilates improves flexibility, agility, and range of motion. It is suitable for all ages, the physically active, those who are sedentary and male or female.

Yoga (45 minutes) / Power Yoga (90 minutes)
Yoga is a low impact class based on the Eastern idea of moving energy through the body. Yoga is for all ages, male and female and you do not have to be flexible to start. Flexibility along with a number of other benefits will come as you take these classes.
Abdominial Blast (30-40 minutes)
Abdominal Blast is designed to help you get the abs you want. Whether you have been working out for a while and already have a decent amount of ab strength or you want to start, this class will make the difference you are looking for.
SilverSneakers® – Muscular Strength & Range of Movement Class (MSROM)
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
SilverSneakers® - Cardio Circuit
Combine fun and fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work using hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, head to toe stretching, and complete relaxation in a comfortable position.
SilverSneakers® - YogaStretch
This class is designed to challenge you physically and mentally with a variety of simple and safe yoga exercises that you’ll do at your own pace. Using a chair for support, you’ll increase flexibility, build endurance and learn how to relax and think more clearly.
Kids Fit for ages 3 to 5 (30 minutes)
Kids ages 3 to 5 will learn about their muscle groups while doing fun activities such as marching in place to warm up, leaping like a frog, stomping like a rabbit, practicing monkey arms and other fun activities such as red light/green light.
Kids Fit for ages 6 to 12 (30 minutes)
Kids ages 6 to 12 will learn about their muscle groups and the importance to incorporating exercise into their lifestyle while doing fun activities and drills to get their heart rate up.
